We have been here close to three weeks now and of course we have gone on some hikes. There are some pictures of Flat Top Mtn., which is a popular hike just south of Anchorage, Byron Glacier and Virgin Creek.
Girdwood is at the northern most aspect of a rainforest and you can really feel this in Virgin Creek. The trees are full of moss with mushrooms abound and the tree leaves are huge.
